After an attempt by owner Allegra Borghese to lead a tour of the vineyard, the tour had to be called off!  But nothing stopped over 150 people from attending the DOWNrightART Opening Reception.

Researcher from Rockefeller University Dr. Xiao-Fei Kong of NYC with artist from MA David Danis at Opening Reception. Alexander's Angels supports Dr. Kong's work on the ummunological features of Down syndrome.  Behind them are the artworks, shown below.

Pictured on the left.  Evie Kahn, Castello Di Borghese Vineyard and Winery General Manager with Carolyn Cronin, Executive Director of MA's based LuMindResearch Down Syndrome Foundation.  Through the latter Alexander's Angels supports research directed towards the discovery of potential drugs to assist memory, learning, and communication in persons with Down syndrome, and help offset the impact of Alzheimer's disease on individuals that have Down syndrome and those who don't!
