Fundraiser for DS Research at Friendly's
Explanation below the flyer*
The
Down Syndrome Research and Treatment Foundation (DSRTF) was founded in 2004 and works with a dedicated group of parents, leading
scientists, and supporters who are committed to finding treatments to improve cognition and prevent further early cognitive
decline with aging in persons with Down syndrome. Since its founding, DSRTF has become the largest non-government
funding source focused on Down syndrome cognitive research. Since 2004 DSRTF has already generated more
than $5.6 million dedicated to biomedical research that is accelerating the development of treatments with
potentially truly life-altering outcomes for both children and adults with Down syndrome—more successful participation
in school; life with dignity and greater independence; and improvement in cognitive function.
