Established in 2008 by Alexander’s Angels to raise awareness and highlight latent talents of individuals with Down syndrome, DOWNrightART emphasizes the abilities of this group known mainly for its disability. Art exhibits and other cultural programs featuring the works of individuals with Down syndrome further Alexander’s Angels’ purpose of educating society about Down syndrome. DOWNrightART has attracted artistic talents from throughout the United States and abroad.
